• Fire fast.
• Done is better than hard work.
• Hire for open roles, not just cracked people.
• Always do live coding interviews, and make sure it imitates the actual work environment.
• Now is not the time for someone to learn a new area of expertise.
• A huge part of the job is hiring.
• Most people can’t work remote as well as in person.
